Washington Park Chiropractic Hires Jake Fisher, DC, Associate Chiropractor

Denver, CO, August 10, 2020 -- Washington Park Chiropractic is thrilled to welcome Dr. Jake Fisher, DC as the newest member of the team. Dr. Fisher joined WPC in July. He relocated to Colorado from Fairfield, CT.
Dr. Fisher grew up living in several locations in the United States including states in Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast. He is one of three chiropractors in his immediate family. He has an extensive sports background competing in baseball, basketball, soccer, football, track and field and finally found his calling with Olympic-style wrestling.
After Receiving his B.S. in Sport Science in 2008, he became a certified strength and conditioning specialist and worked with numerous athletes in a variety of sports for the past ten years. He has worked as a CrossFit coach, performance coach, wrestling coach, and personal trainer. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic in 2020. His last year in school Dr. Fisher was a clinical intern in the University of Bridgeport outpatient clinic treating the local population and NCAA Division II athletes from the University of Bridgeport.
For the past two decades Dr. Fisher has competed for TeamUSA in over 30 different countries. He is a former resident athlete at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center located in Colorado Springs, CO. As a wrestler he competed at the World Championships and has medaled at three Pan-American Championships. He is currently training for the 2021 Olympic Team Trials which will be held next April.

Dr. Fisher began seeing patients in mid-June and his next goal is to bring Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound to WPC.
