Washington Park Chiropractic is re-opening for ALL services Monday, May 11th. Services include chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and nutrition. We are not out of the woods and are following all federal, state and local guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We are also following profession-specific social distancing guidelines. We have been open for limited hours and limited services over the last two weeks and have heard from you!! An overwhelming majority of our patients are so relieved that we are back and are more than happy to comply with our requirements limiting everyone's exposure. We are all getting used to rocking our masks and quite frankly we are enjoying seeing the creative and functional facial coverings coming through our doors. This is still an unprecedented time of safety and caution. As such, we are continuing to execute a gradual reopening to ensure we remain part of the solution and following all recommended safety guidelines. Keep reading for information on our protocols, temporary office hours and to make an appointment.
Below are some precautions we are putting into place to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff:
We suggest all patients in immunocompromised groups and age 65+ take advantage of our telemedicine options
All patients will complete a health screen questionnaire prior to entering
Taking the pulse oxygen reading and temperature of all staff and patients as they walk-in
All staff and patients will be required to wear masks
We are staggering appointments times to reduce congestion
We have installed a custom safety shield on the front desk (thank you Proctor Productions!)
We are limiting number of staff in the office and patients in common areas
Frequently disinfecting common areas and surfaces
Disinfecting chiropractic, acupuncture and massage tables between every patient
Removal of all unnecessary blankets and soft items from massage and acupuncture rooms
Rearranged reception area to maintain social distancing
Removal of children's toys
Removal of sign-in sheet (shared pens)
We ask that you please continue to operate in the best interest of the safety of yourselves, your families, our staff and patients. Please do not present to our office if you or anyone in your family have been sick. Please let us know if there is anything else that would make you more comfortable to come in and see us. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep patient's and our staff happy and healthy!
