The Story Behind Mr. Poppers Pals
Every great chiropractor has an origin story. Ours involves a teddy bear, a little spinal surgery, and a whole lot of love.

When I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, my sister gave me a very special teddy bear. But this wasn't just any bear. He had a little surprise inside that made a popping sound when you pressed on his back, just like a chiropractic adjustment.

Naturally, I named him Mr. Poppers.

Mr. Poppers became a beloved part of my chiropractic journey, and over the years, I wanted to share that same experience with the next generation of chiropractors.

As I began mentoring chiropractic interns, particularly those with an interest in pediatric care, I decided to create their very own Mr. Poppers. I found the perfect teddy bears, discovered a super-secret ingredient that could recreate that satisfying adjustment sound, and performed a little teddy bear spinal surgery to bring them to life.

The results? Adorable, adjustable teddy bears that were as fun to give as they were to receive.
What started as a special gift for a handful of interns eventually grew into something bigger.

And that's how Mr. Poppers Pals was born.

Today, each Mr. Poppers Pal is brought to life through a labor of love (and a little orthopedic expertise). Our bears are sourced and then individually transformed by our small but mighty team, including my college roommate Jill in Chicago, along with wonderful patients and staff members at Washington Park Chiropractic in Denver, Colorado.

Every bear undergoes its own special spinal surgery, complete with our top-secret popping mechanism. No two surgical teams are quite alike, but every bear gets the same attention and care.

We're proud that Mr. Poppers Pals is a small, independently created project assembled by real people with a genuine love for chiropractic.

Whether you're a chiropractor, chiropractic student, or simply someone who appreciates a good adjustment, we hope your Mr. Poppers Pal brings a little joy, a few laughs, and plenty of pops to your day.

Because everyone deserves a great adjustment. Even teddy bears.

With love and a little chiropractic magic,
