Quinci was born and raised in Mitchell, South Dakota, home of the world’s only Corn Palace! During high school, Quinci helped lead her team to three high school gymnastics team state titles in a row and won individual state titles in floor, vault, and all around her senior year. Quinci ended her competitive gymnastics career after her senior year of high school but stayed involved with the sport by coaching which she has done for the past 10 years.
Quinci went to the University of South Dakota for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Medical Biology and minored in Spanish. She graduated a semester early and used this time to travel to Bali where she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Quinci is finishing up her tenth and final trimester of chiropractic school and will graduate in December 2023. She attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota and is finishing up her internship at Washington Park Chiropractic.
Quinci decided to become a chiropractor because of a low back injury she sustained from gymnastics. It amazed her that she would walk into a chiropractic office feeling pain, and after a quick 15-minute adjustment leave feeling so much better! Quinci also struggled with chronic gastrointestinal issues in high school and loved that her chiropractor helped her get to the root cause of her issue rather than just give her medications to suppress symptoms. Her chiropractor made her feel valued as a patient and made it a goal to find the underlying issue and listen to every detail. Quinci wants to treat her future patients in a similar way.
