What to Expect

At Washington Park Chiropractic Dr. Goodman will not set you up on a treatment plan consisting of multiple weekly appointments over multiple months. You can be reassured in knowing that her education and experience at Palmer College of Chiropractic West has trained her to diagnose your condition with a thorough history and physical examination and to provide treatment options that meet both your timeline and fiscal goals.

Dr. Goodman recognizes that each patient has sought our services for individual reasons, be it chronic pain they have been battling for years, preparing for a marathon that takes place in a matter of weeks or a traumatic injury that seems to have no easy solution. Still other patients initiate care to simply stay healthy and prevent injury. Each ailment that brings patients in requires completely unique therapies, treatment approaches and timelines.

Dr. Goodman promises that you will receive a treatment approach unique to your present situation receiving only as many treatments as is necessary to manage your condition.  In addition to chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue therapies, Dr. Goodman will educate you on what you can do at home or at the gym to speed recovery and prevent re-injury.  She may instruct you on stretching, strengthening, nutrition, posture or ergonomics to complement your treatment plan.

Insurance Information

Washington Park Chiropractic accepts all major medical insurance, however, our office is out-of-network for all carriers.

Medicare

WPC also accepts Medicare patients but our office is non-participating. This means that we do not accept payment directly from Medicare. Instead, the patient pays all applicable charges at the time of service. Our office will prepare and send a bill to Medicare, and Medicare will reimburse the patient directly for all covered charges. Medicare will send any unpaid or non-covered charges to the patient's secondary insurance company (if any), and those charges will be reimbursed according to the terms of that policy. Currently, spinal manipulation is the only covered chiropractic Medicare benefit. Medicare reimburses that service at 80% fo the Medicare allowed rate.
