Meet Dr. Goodman

Dr. Lisa Goodman is a mom, an athlete and a family practitioner

  • Dr. Goodman lives in West Washington Park and spends time with her family at the park almost daily.
  • Dr. Goodman is one of few chiropractors in the Denver area to utilize the soft tissue Graston Technique to treat chronic and acute conditions such as tendonitis, shoulder impingement, “frozen shoulder”, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints and sprains and strains. 
  • As the President of the Palmer West Sports Council, Dr. Goodman gained valuable experience treating sports injuries of professional athletes and weekend warriors.
  • Dr. Goodman is a certified in the Webster Technique used to treat pregnant women and create optimal fetal positioning for an easy delivery.
  • She has completed extensive training in treating jaw pain and TMJ disorders. 
  • Dr. Goodman is trained is ergonomic evaluation and believes in preventing repetitive stress injuries through proper posture and biomechanics. 
  • Dr. Goodman applies a variety of chiropractic techniques to care for patients of all ages, sizes and ailments.

Dr. Goodman graduated magna cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, .  She was valedictorian of her class.

  • Dr. Goodman is an avid golfer motivated by lowering her score every year and aiming to beat her husband on of these days!
  • As a former varsity rower for the University of Miami Hurricanes, Dr. Goodman recognizes the importance of maintaining peak physical conditioning and avoiding surgery at all cost.
  • Dr. Goodman stresses that athletes of all skill levels must:
    • Know how to recognize injury at the earliest stages
    • Know what to do immediately upon becoming injured on the field or at home
    • Know how to prevent injury with proper conditioning, taping and bracing, nutrition and chiropractic care
    • Know when to ask for help when a nagging injury is not responding to home remedies
