Meet our Massage Therapists

Michele Manzo graduated from S.H.I. Medical Massage School in 2000. After a few years of working as a massage therapist, Michele went back to school and got her bachelors in sports medicine: health and exercise science. This added much to Michele's massage pracice but she still wanted to expand her knowledge base so she is currently at the University of Colorado pursuing her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Michele is happy to be working with the patients at Washington Park Chiropractic and looking forward to offering her skills as a physical therapist when she graduates.

Amanda Miller grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she studied Psychology at Moravian College before realizing her heart was in Massage Therapy.  After moving to Colorado, she graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy.  While studying at BCMT, Amanda excelled in Shiatsu, which sparked her interest in Eastern healing arts.  Amanda traveled to Thailand where she studied the Northern style of Thai massage in Chiang Mai.  She studied meditation and Buddhist philosophy at Wat Sangathan, which deepened her understanding of this ancient healing art.  Along with Thai massage, Amanda practices Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage.

When Amanda isn’t hard at work, she’s hard at play.  She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with loved ones, listening to live music, and practicing yoga.  She can often be seen getting pulled around Denver by her sassy beagle, Pumpkin.

Crystal Dougherty graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2003. Crystal was guided to take her craft to Costa Rica where she worked at a spa until she was able to open her own healing center in a prominant hotel. After a couple of years in Costa Rica, Crystal decided to return to Colorado to further her education and expand her massage practice. She opened a successful private practice on Old South Pearl St. in Denver until she became pregnant with her first child. Now that her son is old enough for her to return to work, Crystal is happy to once again be practicing massage and very much enjoying working with the patients of Washington Park Chirorpactic at Flourish Massage -
www.flourishmassage.com in nearby Platt Park.
